Aaron R. Miller, Sr.
Aaron R. Miller, Sr., 90, of Annville, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at The Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was born Friday, September 25, 1925 in Branchdale to the late Leroy and Edith (Yerger) Miller. He was predeceased earlier this year by his loving wife of almost 70 years, Helen I. (Tshudy) Miller.
Aaron was a faithful attendee of Faith Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army, serving in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Aaron was the owner of Miller’s Building and Repairing and a skilled woodworker. He enjoyed being in nature and in the mountains, hunting and fishing. Most importantly he loved his Lord and his family.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Rump and husband Frank and Ellen Bomgardner and husband Jim; 2 sons, Aaron Miller, Jr. and wife Karen and David Miller and wife Becky; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a twin brother, William Miller and wife Joan; and 2 sisters, Helen Krall and husband Russell and Anna Hitz.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 5th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Earl Binkley officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service in St. John’s Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery, Steelstown.
