Bonnie R. Witmer

Bonnie R. Witmer, 78, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, June 20, 2019.  She was born Sunday, July 14, 1940 to the late Edward and Mirium (Stake) Reigle. She is survived by her loving husband Glenn S. Witmer.

Bonnie retired from Hershey after 45 years of work.  In her free time she enjoyed going on cruises to the Caribbean, shopping, and watching movies.  She also enjoyed knitting while she was able to use her hands to make lots of different things from slippers to blankets.  Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ream; grandchildren, Cody and Tiffany Broaddus; great grandchildren, Jessica, Raymond, and Stephen; and a brother, Robert and Maria Reigle.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 10 AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Dwight Heim officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
