Charles D. Lichtenberger

Charles Donald Lichtenberger, 71, of Palmyra, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Wallington NJ, he was the son of the late Charles R. and Mary (Hirkala) Lichtenberger. He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 41 years, Yvonne (Arenas) Lichtenberger.

Charlie was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. After the Navy, he spent his 50 year long career working as a heavy hauling truck driver. His friends and family will remember him as a man who never sat still, always made sure his family, home, and yard were taken care of, and who was through and through a good man.

In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by his son, David Lichtenberger of Palmyra. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lichtenberger.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Bill Haken, Sr. officiating. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM prior to the service.
