Family of Charles,
I have never met him, but I know Saundra and Sherrie and the way they talk about him, makes me feel like I know him. Charles sounds a lot like my dad in many ways and hearing the stories you have about him warms my heart to know there was another man out there that was as great as my dad was. I am so sorry for your loss of this special man. Cherish all those wonderful memories and God Bless!

Dad,
You were the best father a girl could ask for. You were always there to lend a hand, give an opinion and better yet give a good hug!
Although not a college educated man, you were the smarted man I knew. You always had a book to read. Not just any book but “ A real book, not fiction “ you would say ! Working the hard puzzles in the newspaper were always so easy for you. You loved to watch Jeopardy and be able to answer all the questions. When I’d mention how smart you were you would say..Damn right. Funny, you said the same thing about being handsome! And you were very handsome. Mom was lucky to have you for 55 years. ( being born into captivity you would say) You were so good to mom! She was your queen and you treated her as such!
I appreciate the special bond you had with Aaron. He’s going to miss you like crazy. He’s going to be a wonderful man and husband like you! He had you to look up to! I thought it amazing how you treated my stepchildren as your very own grandchildren immediately without question or reservation.
I am going to miss you so very much . I have a million good memories...thank you for that.
I can relax knowing that pain is no longer and issue and you are with Russell.
As we would say to each other when apart...I’m watching you. Then I’m watching you watch me watch you! I love you more today than yesterday ! See you later alligator.....
