Clair R. Martin, Sr.

Clair R. Martin, Sr., 80, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Hummelstown, he was the son of the late Harry Martin and Mary (Nye) Croyle.

Clair was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. After returning from the military, he worked at Hershey Foods until retirement. He was a skilled handyman, especially small engines. Friends and neighbors would bring their lawn mowers and other items to him to fix.  Clair was also a talented bowler.

He is survived by three children: Cynthia L. Taylor, Clair R. Martin, Jr., (Kelly), both of Elizabethtown, and Lori A. Bracale (Scott) of Middletown, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 4PM on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Palmyra. 717-838-9211
