Colleen (Liggett) Miller

Colleen (Liggett) Miller, 52, of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at her home. Born in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Theodore F. Liggett and Ruth (Alleman), wife of William Wise of Palmyra. She was the wife of David B. Blauch of Palmyra.

A member of Palmyra High School Class of 1983, Colleen earned an associate degree in automobile mechanics from Vale Technical Institute. She also received a degree in forestry, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors and teaching others about it.

Colleen previously worked for Pennsylvania State Emissions, Hoffman Ford, and with her first husband owned and operated Thomco Automotive in Hummelstown. Colleen was last employed by Hershey Foods as a mechanic for over 25 years.

In addition to her husband David and mother Ruth, she is survived by her step-father William Wise; a sister Robin L. Hartman, and her husband Greg A. of Palmyra; two step-brothers: Scott Wise and his wife Angie of Palmyra, and Rodney Underkoffler and his wife Michelle of Harrisburg; nieces: Kaitlyn and Brittany Hartman; her Aunt Sandy Miller, numerous step-nieces and nephews; and will be lovingly missed by her dogs Cameron, Timber and Taylor.

She was predeceased by her first husband Thomas Miller who died in 2012, and a step-son Shawn Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
