Donald G. Christ

Donald George Christ, 84, of Annville, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Johnstown, he was the son of the late George and Claire (Wetzel) Christ. He was married to Joyce P. (Roberts) Christ until her death in 2016.

Donald worked as a truck driver for numerous companies over the years and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He would often speak of his experience of trucking with 3 separate generations of the Ramsey family during his career. Donald was also a licensed private pilot. Donald and his wife were active members of Annville Fitness’s Silver Sneakers. He most enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a big animal lover. His dogs Cristie and Rudy, and his grand dog Willow held a special place in his heart.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy Christ & wife Cherye, David Christ & wife Carol and two brothers, Jack and William Christ.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Chaplain Audrey Finkbiner officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
