Jean Eby Boyd

Jean Eby Boyd, 86, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Born November 11, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Carrie E. (Yoder) Eby.  She was the widow of Charles S. Boyd, who passed away on December 8, 1995.  She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Helen Eby, her brother, Richard Y. Eby, and her sister, Mary Mart. 

A graduate of Palmyra High School, class of 1951, she was retired from the Hershey Company where she worked in the Moulding Room.  She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Church of Christ, in Palmyra.

Surviving are her sons: Dennis C. and wife Lori of Lebanon, Dean R. and wife Joan of Annville, daughter Dawn B. Shook and husband Terry of Annville; grandchildren, Jessica Boyd, Brian Boyd and wife Kyra, Neil Shook, Lindsay Boyd and fiancé Jayson Coulter, and Amber Boyd; great-granddaughter, Savannah Boyd; and fifteen nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Donté Jones officiating.  A time of viewing will be held from 10AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
