John W. Reinhardt

John William Reinhardt, 80, of Annville, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 in his home.  He was born Tuesday, June 18, 1935 in Rochester, MN to the late Raymond and Bernice (Stiller) Reinhardt.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Nancy L. (Phillippy) Reinhardt in 2009.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a faithful member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, where he sang in the choir.  John was a CPA and an Auditor for the Commonwealth of PA.  He was an avid bicyclist, had many interests including history and inventions, and was a self-taught violinist.  John enjoyed cheering on the Hershey Bears hockey team.  Most importantly he was a loving uncle and companion. 

He is survived by his companion, Annette M. Jones of Annville; Nieces and nephews, Kathleen Dee Newkam of Harrisburg, Philip J. Reinhardt of Oakhill, VA, Robin D. Stover of Palmyra and several other nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by 2 siblings, Philip J. Reinhardt, Sr. and Barbara Dee. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 30th at 11 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Father James F. Podlesny as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra 17078.
