Juliette R. (Bowman) Patrick

Juliette Romaine (Bowman) Patrick, 85, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at The Middletown Home.  She was born Thursday, December 26, 1929 in Palmyra to the late James K. and Esther May (Hollingsworth) Bowman.  She was predeceased in 1991 by her loving husband, Rev. M. Eugene Patrick.

She graduated from Palmyra High School, beauty culture school, was a lifelong member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, was a gifted seamstress, and enjoyed crewel embroidery.  As the wife of a pastor, she had a heart for missions and women’s ministry.  She loved her family dearly and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen M. Stepanovic and husband Gary of Lebanon, Brenda L. Roth and husband Clyde of Harrisburg, and Jan N. Rexrode of Palmyra; a son, Douglas E. Patrick of Essex, MD; seven grandchildren, Kara Patrick, Kayla Patrick, Natalie Hogan, Sue Raynes, Elyse Lanzer, Brandon Rexrode, and Kristen Fava; three great-grandchildren, Kathryn Raynes, Jacob Lanzer, and Kyle Lanzer; one sister, Janice M. Hartman and husband Lloyd of Wernersville; one sister-in-law, Hattie Bowman of Susquehanna.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Alaina P. Roth; a great-grandson, Lamont Eugene Stepanovic; son-in-law, Cloyd Rexrode, Jr.; a brother, James Bowman.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19th at 11 AM at Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, 131 Gravel Hill Road, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Douglas Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service at the church.  Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra has been entrusted with the arrangements.
