Michael J. “Mike” Lembesis

Michael J. “Mike” Lembesis of Enola passed away at his residence on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the age of 61. He loved life, his family, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, whom he loved so much. Mike had a huge heart. He was always first to help everyone no matter what their need. Always ready to serve family and friends. Mike was born in Harrisburg and graduated from John Harris High School. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Mike is survived by his children Christina Lembesis, Heidi (Tony) Frasier, Julia (Joe) Stevens, John M. Lembesis, Angela Lembesis and Nicholas Lembesis. His grandchildren Ashley, Joey, Austin, Jacob, Tori, Aliyah and Olivia, and great granddaughter Lexus. His parents John and Julia Lembesis of Harrisburg, sisters Maria L. (Bill) Logan of Camp Hill, Olga Lembesis (Joe Battista) of Mifflin, Sophia Nelms (Trevor Sybrandt) of Lemoyne and Joanna Lembesis (Mike McQuaid) of Harrisburg, nephews Dennis and Jake, nieces Julie, Michelle, AnnMarie, Amanda, Alexa and Adriana. His Aunt Pearl, Aunt Effie and Uncle Mike, and many cousins and second cousins.  

Mike retired from the family businesses: John Lembesis Painting Company, Kitchenworks Caterers, What If Hershey, Sophia’s on Market and Overnight Trucking Company. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill. Visitation will be held in the Cathedral at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Graveside services will be held at the Harrisburg East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Mission, 611 Reilly Street, Harrisburg, Pa. 17102 and the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, Pa. 17011.
