Olivia Gabrielle (Olson) Geib, age 27, of Harrisburg PA entered the loving arms of Jesus on Friday May 26, 2017.  Born in Tom’s River, NJ on January 16, 1990, she was the loving daughter of David and Kelly (Schrecengast) Olson.

A graduate from Lower Dauphin High School in 2008, she continued her education at Empire Beauty School.  God granted her with a true gift of creativity, which she expressed beautifully as a talented makeup artist and hair stylist; most recently at Downstreet Salon in Hershey.

A beautiful person inside and out, her contagious smile and sweet spirit could bring life into any room she entered.  If you were fortunate enough to have spent time in Olivia’s presence, then you know the impact she made in her short 27 years on earth.    A tender-hearted soul, who was fun-loving in nature, vibrant and a true delight; she left an impression that is too great to ever be forgotten.  She had a love for animals and a love of the arts; which she expressed through dance, playing of the violin, piano and through song.

Olivia was a devoted mother to Gabrielle, whom she lovingly referred to as “Gabbi”.  Her passion was being the best mom to Gabbi, who she adored and cherished with all her heart.  Together they recently created lasting memories at Hershey Park.

She was a faithful Christian servant and attended Grace Point Evangelical Free Church, serving in the children’s ministry. 

Olivia is survived by her husband Andrew, her daughter Gabrielle, age 2, at home; a brother, Erik M. of Arlington, VA – with whom she shared a very close relationship; maternal grandparents, William and Donna (Schrecengast) Billett, Reedsville, PA; paternal grandmother, Margaret Olson,  Warren, PA; aunts, uncles and many cousins who she loved to spend time with. 

Most recently she was joyfully employed at Hoffman Homes for Youth in Littlestown, PA.

Leaving a strong foundation for a legacy in her short time on earth; we are confident in God’s promise that those benefits will be reaped in Gabbi’s life from the seeds her precious mother planted.  A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 2, 2017 at Hershey Free Church, 330 Hilltop Rd.,Hummelstown.  Time of visitation will be from 4pm – 6pm, with the memorial service at 6pm.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memory of Olivia, to Hoffman Homes, 815 Orphanage Rd., Littlestown, PA  17340.
