Rita Helmer Obituary
Rita A. (Fegan) Helmer passed away peacefully, at the age of 65, in The Gardens of Palmyra nursing home on June 13, 2018 in her hometown of Palmyra, PA.
Mrs. Helmer was born on January 18th, 1953 in Fort Ord, CA to her parents, Anne Marie and Henry A. Fegan. She is a graduate of Palmyra Area High School, class of 1971, and Central Pennsylvania Business School, Class of 1973.
Mrs. Helmer was a loving woman who's world revolved around her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Helmer; her daughter, Shauna Fegan; two brothers, Robert Fegan and Art Fegan; and two grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father.
A memorial luncheon will take place on Friday, June 22nd at 1:00 p.m. at Hometown Family Restaurant in Palmyra, PA. In lieu of cut flowers, the family asks for potted flowers or donations to local animal rescues.
