Sue Y. (Kincannon) Garber

Sue Yvonne (Kincannon) Garber, 79, of Manheim, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Manor Care Lebanon.  She was born Sunday, May 23, 1937 in Waco, TX to the late Leo General and Vera Marie (Ingram) Kincannon.  She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Carl Richard Garber.      

Sue was a faithful member of Palmyra Church of the Brethren.  She retired from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center where she worked in the bookstore and as a secretary for the OBGYN department.  Sue enjoyed playing bingo and loved putting together puzzle, then framing them for her family.  Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  

She is survived by 3 children, Scot Garber and wife Dawn, Carla Ryder, and Brent Garber; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Laseter.  

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 1 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with Pastor Rick Martin officiating.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 11 AM until time of the service.  Burial will follow the service in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made in her honor to Hospice For All Seasons Foundation, 280 South Hill Drive, Grantville, PA 17028.
