Betty H. (Hainly) Adams, 93, of Palmyra, and formerly of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born January 19, 1925 in Campbelltown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Lillie Mae (Bolan) Hainly. She was married to Mark J. Adams for nearly 65 years until his death on January 13, 2013.
Betty retired as a payroll clerk from Lancaster Malleable Castings. She was also a member of Hempfield United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Lynette K. Brown, and husband, Thomas, of Manheim, and Beverly A. Divelbiss, and husband, Wick, of Punxsutawney. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Matthew Divelbiss and wife, Betsey, Adam Divelbiss, Jeremy Brown and wife Katie and Tiffany Fiore and husband Mike; 5 great grandchildren, Lillian, Jonas and Oliver Divelbiss and Max and Keegan Brown; two sisters, Marian Becker, of Palmyra and Janice Steily, of Campbelltown. She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078, 717-838-9211. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be closed casket visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM.
