Brenda Carol (Gilmore) Kern

Brenda Carol (Gilmore) Kern, 69, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  Born February 28, 1949 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Ruth E. (Martin) Gilmore.

Brenda was a lifetime member of Gravel Hill United Methodist Church, Palmyra.  She enjoyed reading and baking as well as visiting the beach and her family in Florida.

She is survived by two sons, John A. Palmer, of Lebanon and Robert A. Palmer, husband of Paula, of Florida; three grandchildren, Amanda J. Palmer, Justin E. Palmer and Kacie A. Palmer as well as a sister, Anita R. Ramsbottom, of Florida.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne F. Seltzer.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
