Darryl Earl Focht, of East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, February 24, 2019. Born February 11, 1948 to the late Earl K. and Harriet (Labe) Focht. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Linda Deiter Rhen Focht.
Darryl graduated from Muhlenberg Township High School in 1966. He enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve and completed boot camp in Parris Island, S.C. He was a faithful member of the St. Stephen’s Christian Fellowship Church and loved his dogs and horses. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Jarrod Focht and wife Maria of Fleetwood, Justin Focht and wife Tanya of Easton, and Zach Focht and wife Tara of Sinking Spring; Stepchildren, Patrick Rhen of Lebanon, Melanie Roberts and husband Justin of Palmyra, and Brad Rhen and wife Tiffani of Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother Bevin Focht and wife Jeanne of Reading; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a grandson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2019 at 11 AM at the St. Stephen’s Christian Fellowship Church, 1100 Hunters Chase Ln., Lebanon, PA 17046 with Pastor Ron Salem and Pastor Bill Allison officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
