Doris Jean (Potteiger) Fritz

Doris Jean Fritz, 94, of Annville passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 14, 2017.  She was born Saturday, June 23, 1923 to the late William Elen and Clara Catherine (Miller) Potteiger.  Doris is predeceased by her husband, Ammon S. Boyd.

Doris was retired from the Reeses Candy Company after 24 years of work.  She was a faithful member of the Rocherty United Methodist Church, Lebanon.  Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Linda Wagner and husband Kenneth of Lebanon, Patricia Martin and husband Dennis of Colebrook; a son, Ammon H. Boyd of Lebanon; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Marlissa Boyd of Annville.  She is predeceased by her son Eugene E. Boyd; and 2 sisters Winifred Rummel, and Virginia Schaefer.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 18th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra.   Burial will follow in Gravel Hill, Palmyra. Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation from 10 AM until time of service.
