Ethel Irene (Snyder) Stumpf, 93, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born Thursday, February 26, 1925 in Freeland, PA to the late Carl W. and Margaret E. (Sims) Snyder. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, John L. Stumpf, on Saturday, December 12, 2009.
She retired as an administrative assistant from Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, was a longtime member of Palm Lutheran Church and was an avid reader. Most of all, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl L. Hawbecker and husband Jeffrey of Nazareth, Judy L. Oliver and husband Steven of Palmyra; three grandchildren, Victoria Hawbecker of New York City, Stephanie Reifsnyder and husband Jason of Lititz, and Caitlin Tice and husband Greg of Palmyra; and two great grandsons, Broderick and Preston Reifsnyder.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
