Jeanne F. Seltzer
Jeanne Frances Seltzer nee Gilmore, 71 of Palmyra passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center. Jeanne was born October 23, 1946 in Lebanon the daughter of the late Henry E. Gilmore and the late Ruth E. Gilmore nee Martin. She was a member of the Gravel Hill United Methodist Church Palmyra and a resident of Londonderry Village (Lebanon Valley Brethren Home) Palmyra. She was a retired secretary from the Aluminum Company of America Lebanon Works.
Jeanne was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 1965 graduate of Patricia Stevens School for Girls in Philadelphia with study in advanced secretarial skills. She had been active in her church, was a member of the Londonderry Village auxiliary, served on the board of directors of the former Oakview Home for Single Women and Widows in Lebanon and was a member and past president of the Professional Secretaries International Lebanon Chapter. Jeanne was an avid collector of Lennox and Bradford porcelain birds and snowmen and M. I. Hummel figurines. She enjoyed reading about and visiting historical places, leaf rides in the Fall and watching birds at her bird feeders.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 31 years, Terry L. Seltzer, two sisters, Brenda of Palmyra and Anita of St. Petersburg, FL, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
