Joseph Edmund Stevens Jr., also known as Joey by those who loved him, from Enola, was suddenly taken too soon from this life as a result of a motor vehicle accident at the young age of 26.
He was born on October 20, 1992 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his parents, Julia and Joe Stevens; his brother, Jacob Stevens and his grandmother, Sheila Stevens. He is also survived by his great grandparents, Julia and John Lembesis, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald G. Stevens and his maternal grandfather, Michael Lembesis.
Joey attended and graduated from East Pennsboro Area High School, where he played football. After high school, he attended Bloomsburg University. Joey was often busy cheering for his favorite NFL football team, the Rams. He mostly loved spending time with his friends and family, as well as playing Xbox. Most people knew him by his goofy personality, caring heart, and ability to light up a room as soon as he entered. As Joey would say, “Bless up and walk safe”.
A funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Enola First Church of God, 9 Sherwood Drive, Enola, PA 17025 with Pastor George Jensen officiating.
