Karen J. (Simonitis) Petscavage

Karen J. (Simonitis) Petscavage, 69, formerly of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at her home in Palmyra, PA following a courageous battle with cancer.  Born November 30, 1947 in Kingston, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Petcavage and the late Josephine (Hudacek) Simonitis.  She was married to Michael J. Petscavage, Jr. on September 23, 1972.

In addition to her husband of nearly 45 years, she will be lovingly missed by two daughters; Michelle and husband Shaune Kent, of Palmyra and Dr. Jonelle and husband, Dr. Gary Thomas, of Hummelstown.  Also surviving are 5 granddaughters: Kieran, Riley, Lily, Charlotte and Sydney and two sisters; Sylvia Kochanski, of Plymouth, PA and Sandra McCaffrey and husband, Daniel, of Brooklyn, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at The Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078.  Closed casket visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078 and on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the funeral home.  A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Dallas, PA.
