Linda Marie (Hein) Hitz

Linda M. (Hein) Hitz, 67, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  She was born Monday, November 21, 1949 to Melvin E Hein and the late Betty J. (Gilbert) Hein.  Linda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Galen D. Hitz.

She enjoyed reading and cross-stitching in her free time along with gardening.  She sang in the Hummelstown Choir and enjoyed trips to Ocean City Maryland. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Lisa M. Emswiler and Crystal G. Henckel and husband Larry; a son, Jeffrey A. Hitz; 6 grandchildren, Skylar Miller, Josh Emswiler, Zachary Henckel, Ethan Hitz, and Sean and Kyle Mckinney; and a brother, Roger Hein. 

Funeral services will be held Wednday, October 11th at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra with Pastor Jeremy Shank officiating.   Burial will follow in Shenk’s Community Cemetery, Elizabethtown. Family and friends are invited for a time of viewing on Tuesday, October 10th from 5 PM to 7 PM and Wednesday, October 10th from 10 AM until time of service.
