Robert Lee Davis

Robert “Bob” Lee Davis, 62, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Palmyra Health and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born Monday, October 20, 1952 in Robertsdale to the late Robert H. and Inez (Hughes) Davis.  He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Deborah (Hartman) Davis.

He graduated from Hershey High School in 1970 and Elizabethtown College with a degree in accounting.  He retired as assistant controller for New Penn Motor Freight following many years of loyal service.  He was a member of Palmyra First United Methodist Church, Brownstone Lodge No. 666 F. & A.M., and the Zembo Shrine.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, with an affinity for the Phillies and Eagles.  He enjoyed music, fishing and boating with family and friends.  Most of all, he cherished his family and adored his grandchildren with all his heart.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three loving children, Jim Kreiser and wife Nicole, Becky Davis, and Tom Davis and wife Mindy all of Palmyra; three grandchildren, Christian Kreiser, Megan Kreiser, and Baby Boy Davis due to arrive in October.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 18th at 4 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Dr. David P. Harris officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 3 PM until time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
