Therese Nancy (Dincalsy) Cordaro

Therese Nancy (Dincalsy) Cordaro, 91, of Palmyra passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.  She was born Wednesday, January 25, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Lucille (Fiorillo) Dincalsy.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Salvatore J. Cordaro, on Monday, February 17, 2014; and a daughter, Carolanne Cordaro on Friday, December 5, 2014. 

She was an active member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Palmyra Garden Club, and served passionately on the Board of Directors at the Renova Center in Lebanon.  She was an accomplished artist, sharing her beautiful paintings with family and friends.  She enjoyed the beauty of flowers and was quite skillful in the art of floral arrangements.  Most of all, she was devoted and loved her family beyond measure.  

She is survived by three sons, Stephen J. Cordaro and wife Anne Marie of Hummelstown, Robert J. Cordaro of Charlottesville, VA, Richard J. Cordaro of Harrisburg; a daughter, Judith T. Shearer and husband Richard of Palmyra; ten grandchildren, K. Taylor, Jordan, Andrea Enterline, Christopher, Laura, Mary Anne, Andrew, Christine, Allison, and Catherine Cordaro; five great-grandchildren, Stella, Korbin and Grayson Bashore, Gavin Cordaro, and Isla Ewing.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 31st at 2 PM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will take place on Friday, February 1st at 10:30 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Wednesday, January 30th from 6 to 8 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra and on Thursday from 1 PM until time of Mass at the church.
