Walter Lee Tignanelli

Walter L. Tignanelli passed into the arms of Jesus on June 28, 2019.  He was born July 28, 1934 in Forward Township, PA. The son of the late Dominic and Alice (Little) Tignanelli.  He was preceded in death by his brother William J. Tignanelli, his sister Marlene and brother-in-law Earl Watson.  Surviving Walter are his wife Mary Jane, daughters Anita, wife of Robert Reinert, Jayne, wife of Steve Murphy, Rose, wife of David Sekely, and Linda, wife of Joseph and stepchildren B. Frank Kreider III & wife Lori, J. Forrest Kreider & wife Robin, Kimbra Wingerd & husband Luke, Karen Zimmerman & husband Dan, and Stephanie Kopp & husband Jamie. Walt is survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

Walt was a member of Zion Methodist Church, Myerstown. A truck driver most of his life, he was a member of Teamsters Local 776. He and his wife also owned and operated the Birch Knoll Inn, Manheim. Walt also served as a corporal in the US Army.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Zion Methodist Church, 22 East Main Avenue, Myerstown, PA 17067 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
