William Edward “Bill” Rudy, Jr., 60, of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 in his home. Born Monday, April 7, 1958 to Shirley A. (Griffin) D’Allura and the late William Edward Rudy, Sr..
A Decorated Navy Veteran who served 20 years worked as a machinist mate. As a Palmyra High School Graduate class of 1977 Bill was known for his athleticism in high school as a star football player and captain of the football team all through high school and also a wrestler taking first place at States. Bill was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast with many Harleys of his own. He was also a faithful Christian with a love for fishing. Most importantly he was a loving son, father, and brother.
In addition to his Mother, Bill is survived by daughter, Karynne N. Myers; granddaughter, Jasmine Myers; brother, Robert T. Brandt and wife Michele L.; sister Michelle L. Brandt; and step-father, John A. D’Allura.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at noon at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A viewing will be held from 11AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will full military honors.
