Carole A. (Bingham) Grissinger Sieber, 83, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Tuesday, March 15, 1938, in Indiana, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick L. and Mary Eleanor (Marsh) Bingham. She was first married to Walter R. Grissinger for over 38 years. Walter passed away in 2005. She was then married to James L. Sieber until his death in 2020.
A graduate of Bedford High School, Bedford, PA, Carole was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fulton Chapter #519. She served 12 years on the Board of Directors of the Central Fulton School District and was also a 40-year member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, McConnellsburg, PA. Above all, she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by a son, Scott R. Grissinger, married to Suzanne, of Springboro, OH and a daughter, Lynn G. Harrell, married to Christopher, of McConnellsburg. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Daniel C. Bingham, married to Martha, of Chambersburg, as well as her extended family and caring friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janis L. Cutchall.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Private interment will take place in Union Cemetery, McConnellsburg, PA.
