Clifford Henry Wagner, 73, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was born in Cincinnati to the late Clifford A. and Mary M. (Anderson) Wagner. He is survived by his loving wife MaryBeth (Fountaine) Wagner.
Cliff received his PHD from SUNY-Albany University and taught as a college professor in the Math and Computer Science Department at Penn State-Harrisburg for nearly 40 years. Above all else, Cliff’s life was marked by his kindness and caring nature. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Donald Edward Wagner and wife Yeliska Miranda of Germany and Thomas Henry Wagner and wife Katieann Creveling of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, who he loved unconditionally, Miguel, Mateo, Marcos, Kyle, and Tyler Wagner; and a brother Donald Issac Wagner of Cincinnati.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11AM at the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, 996 E. High St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Reverend Adam Forry officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in his memory to: Elizabethtown BIC Church (memo: SPICE), or to the Bethesda Mission, 611 Reily St., Harrisburg, PA 17102.
