Daniel A. Lewis

Daniel A. Lewis, 43, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Conoy Township.  Born Wednesday, November 16, 1977, in Lancaster, he was the son of Kelly J. (Duane) Bakaric and the late Dennis M. Lewis.

A Veteran, Dan proudly served with the U.S. Navy.  Most recently, he worked as the lead custodian for the Elizabethtown Area School District.  He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan, but above all, will be remembered as a loving son, father, brother and friend.

He is survived by his mother, Kelly and two daughters: Crislynn M. Lewis and Elizabeth C. Lewis, all of Elizabethtown.  Also surviving are his sister, Crissy M. Bixler, of Elizabethtown; his former wife, Stephanie F. Magruder, of California; four nieces: Taylor, Lexi, Kaydence and Piper, as well as Dan’s extended family and caring friends.

A Memorial Service will begin promptly at 3 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Conoy Brethren In Christ Church, 1722 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with Pastor Nick Ressler officiating.  A time of visitation will follow the service at the church on Saturday.  Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
