David A. Lines, Sr., 64, of Bainbridge, PA, formerly of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2019 at home surrounded by family after battling health issues for many years.
Dave was born in Hershey on October 1, 1954. He worked many years at the former Fruehauf Trailer Company in Middletown and later at Tri-State Trailer Sales in East Petersburg. He loved listening to oldies music, watching NASCAR races and enjoyed playing poker with family at reunions.
He is survived by his beloved wife, of 46 years, Cindy L. (Tatem) Lines, sons David (K.c.) Lines, Jr., of Fort Worth, TX, Daniel (Maribeth) Lines, of Middletown, PA, daughter Jennifer (Terry) Rabuck of Bainbridge, PA, mother Anna M. (Smith) Lines of Middletown, PA, sister Carol (Greg) Weikel of Middletown, PA, sister in-law JoAnn Lines of Mansfield, TX; his four loving grandchildren, who will miss their grandfather dearly, Mallory and Allison Lines-Livering, Cadence Lines and Mason Rabuck, and his cat, Kitty, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Daniel W. Lines, Jr., infant brother Daniel W. Lines, III, and brother Terry L. Lines. We all love and will miss him greatly. As he would say, “love you whole bunches”.
The family would like to thank CareGivers America, United Disabilities Services, and Hospice of Central PA for their support and care during the last nine months.
A celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 3:00 pm at the Middletown First Church of God, 245 West High Street, Middletown, PA 17057. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
