Dawn Lee (Jacobs) Baird

Dawn Lee (Jacobs) Baird, 62, of Cleona, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center following a courageous battle with brain cancer.  She was born Thursday, December 24, 1959 in Harrisburg to Alice R. (Jacobs) Decker and the late Benjamin E. Jacobs.  She is survived by her loving husband John Scott Baird.

She graduated from Annville Cleona in 1977 and had worked for Giant Foods in Cleona where she made many friends over the years.  Most recently she worked for Eagle Graphics in Annville.  She attended Encounter Church of Palmyra, enjoyed shopping and being on the river fishing with her husband.  Most of all she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. 

She is survived by a son, Nathan J. Putt and wife Tina of Elizabethtown; two granddaughters, Alexis and Melina Putt of Elizabethtown; a brother, James Decker, Jr. of Annville; a sister, Kathy McKinney and husband Mike of SC; and a sister-in-law, Roxanne Jacobs of Palmyra; a niece, Candie McKinney of SC; and a nephew, Melvin Jacobs, Jr. and wife Amanda of Harrisburg.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Austin Putt; and a brother, Melvin Jacobs.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.  Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
