Debra A. (Hess) Williams, 61, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her home in North Londonderry Township. Born Thursday, February 2, 1961, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Garfield C. Hess and Joanne F. (Dohner) Martin. She was married to David L. Williams for over 12 years until his death on Saturday, April 5, 2014
Debra was a lover of music and actively enjoyed the simple things in life while maintaining an appreciation for the complexity and magnificence of the world around her. One of her favorite pastimes was to attend live music concerts. No matter what genre or who was playing, if she liked the music, then she was there. Her strength, determination, love for family and friends and caring heart, influenced everyone who met her and inspired them to be better. Her faith in the Lord was strong; she was always thankful and trusted His plan.
She will be lovingly missed by two daughters: Amanda Misiti, married to Gary Misiti, Jr., of Etters, and Melissa A. Poindexter, of Palmyra. Also surviving are her grandson, Gavin Seguinot, of Palmyra, and three step-grandchildren: Avianna, Carter and Ethan Misiti, all of Etters; three siblings: Cindy Shay, married to William, Gregory Hess, married to Tina, and Tami Kohr, married to Mike, all of Lebanon, as well as Debbie’s extended family and caring friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Nathaniel Martin.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 between 6 and 8 PM in the Celebration Room at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078, 717-838-9211.
