Jeffrey L. Roeting

Jeffrey L. Roeting, 63, of Elizabethtown, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, July 10, 2020, at his home in Mount Joy Township.  Born Saturday, December 8, 1956 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of Sonja (Farmer) Roeting and the late Francis “Shorty” Roeting.  He was married to Karen L. (Tyson) Roeting on April 30, 1983.

Jeffrey worked at the Lawn Service Plaza.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing baseball and loved to eat at his favorite restaurants.  

In addition to his wife of over 37 years, he is survived by his mother, Sonja Roeting, of Elizabethtown; four children: Jeremy L. Roeting, Nathaniel P. Roeting, Elizabeth A. Roeting and Aaron F. Roeting.  Also surviving are six grandchildren: Jacob, Summer, Jazmine, Joseph, Chase and Olivia; three sisters: Candy, Rhonda and Crystal; three brothers: Rick, Kevin and Brian, as well as Jeffrey’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Brandon M. Roeting.

A Funeral Service will be held (in compliance with Covid-19 regulations) at 11 AM on Friday, July 24, 2020, at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543 with the Rev. Dr. William E. Stoffel officiating.  A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Friday.  Burial will follow in Moyer Cemetery, Hershey.
