Jesusa G. Bermudez

Jesusa G. Bermudez, 92, formerly of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Paramount Senior Living, Maytown, PA.  Born Thursday, January 16, 1930, in San Manuel, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Ignacio S. and Antonia (Gacayan) Bermudez.

Jesusa’s interests included traveling and volunteering at the Senior Activities Center in Norristown, PA, where she helped prepare and deliver Meals on Wheels to those in need.

She is survived by a sister, Nellie Bemesderfer, married to Tony, of Elizabethtown.  Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Miriam Bermudez, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews including Art Bermudez, married to Samantha (Prince) Bermudez, of Haddonfield, New Jersey, and Grace (Bermudez) Bee, married to Aaron Bee, of Fairfax, Virginia; four grandchildren: Lia Bee, Milo, Eli and Ava Bermudez; as well as Jesusa’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arturo Bermudez.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA  19462.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.  A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
