Kerby Allen Sheetz

Kerby Allen Sheetz, 71, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at home. Born Tuesday, January 9, 1951 in Palmyra, he was the son of the late William A. and Betty L. (Hershberger) Sheetz.

Kerby was a 1968 graduate of Palmyra High School and served in the US Army Reserve. He was retired from Plain and Fancy Custom Cabinetry where he was employed as a cabinet maker. Kerby was an avid golfer and enjoyed the Phillies, Eagles and Penn State.

Kerby is survived by a son Christopher R. Sheetz and his wife Becky (Nye) of Palmyra; three grandchildren: Keira and Emelyn Sheetz, and Gavin Olsen; two sisters: Kristi Hossler and husband Ronald, and Vicki Clements and husband Al, all of Palmyra; a brother Gary Sheetz (Caroline) of Palmyra; two nieces and four nephews, and Susan L. Sheetz, with whom he remained close.

He was predeceased by a son Kevin M. Sheetz who passed away in 2005.

A visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
