Lauretta Goldie (Galloway) Tobias

Lauretta G. Tobias, of Susquehanna Township, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2020 at StoneRidge, Myerstown.  She was born to the late Charles McClean and Irene S. (Melcher) Galloway.  She is predeceased by her loving husband John Henry Tobias.

She was a faithful Eastern Star member with a passion for singing in her choir.  She also enjoyed reading and traveling with her camper. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Lauretta is survived by her children: Nancy Minnick and Scott Tobias and wife Renee; grandchildren, Derek Minnick and wife Angela and Dylan Minnick and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Noelle, and Everly Minnick; sisters, Audrey Hammaker and Leoda Galloway; brother, Donald Galloway and wife Lynn; and several nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by a brother Edgar Galloway.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11AM at the Penbrook Church of God, 2733 Canby St., Harrisburg, PA 17103 with an Order of the Eastern Star service.  A time of viewing from 10 AM until the start of the service.  Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Garden, Harrisburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Penbrook Church of God.
