Mae E. (Grabey) Reed

Mae E. Reed, 88, of Palmyra, was born again into her eternal life on Saturday, September 14, 2019.  Mae entered her earthly life on November 19, 1930, in Valley View, PA.  She was the daughter of the late Elwood H. and Mae E. (Hoffman) Grabey. 

Formerly of Valley View, PA, she was married to Clair Eugene Reed who preceded her in death in July of 1990.

She is survived by her children: Robert R. Reed, of Palmyra and Rebecca J. (Reed) Lawyer, married to Richard, of Palmyra.  Also surviving are a sister, Patricia (Grabey) Yerger; a brother, Joseph Grabey and a sister-in-law, Meredith (Reed) Triplett.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and John Grabey.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA  17078, 717-838-9211, with the Reverend Samuel D. Fry officiating.  There will be a viewing held at the funeral home from 6 PM until the time of the service on Thursday.  A private graveside service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church Cemetery, Valley View, PA, at the convenience of the family.
