Marion A. (Albright) Zimmerman

Marion A. (Albright) Zimmerman, 92, born in Hanover, PA and formerly of York, PA passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 23, 2021 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was predeceased by her loving husband Donald R. Zimmerman in June 2010; married 59 years. 

She is survived by her son, David Zimmerman; her son, Daniel Zimmerman (Kate); her daughter, Amy Taylor (Rick); her grandson, Michael Zimmerman; and her granddaughter, Carolyn Zimmerman (Aaron Bradley). 

Marion graduated from Hanover High School in 1946 and upon graduation she worked for Dentsply, Inc. in York as an Executive Secretary. Family was important to Marion and she spent most of her time surrounded by friends and family in York and then in retirement in Ocean Pines and Delmar, MD. Marion loved all her dogs, especially Bruno her German Shepard. She loved working in her gardens, doing needlepoint, taking road trips with her husband, yard sales, and cooking.  Her compassionate spirit and joy for life will be deeply missed. Services will be private. 

A Memorial Service to be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to an animal welfare charity.
