Mary E. (Harris) Heisey

Mary E. (Harris) Heisey, 61, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 21, 2021.  She was born Saturday, October 15, 1960 to the late Edwin Trainer and Elizabeth May (Ritchie) Harris.  She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dennis Heisey.

Mary was a loving and caring person, she was a nurse at the Osteopathic hospital in Harrisburg, a CCRN and worked in pain management at Susquehanna Valley Pain Management, and a case manager later at AmeriHealth Caritas.  In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, crochet, scrap booking, camping, and traveling with her family.  She volunteered her time with the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 594 and was also their secretary. She also had a love for her dog, Zita, and her grand-dogs, Gracie Mae, Luna, Turbo, and Sola. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children: Heather Crumlich and husband Michael, and Elizabeth Mecca and husband Edward; grandchildren, Rylan Mecca, Brittany Myers, and Dylan Crumlich; sister, Pamela Cyzeski and husband Thomas; nephews, Jeffery and Jeremy Benner; great niece, Riley Benner; and great nephew, Aaron Benner.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11AM at the New Beginnings Church, 630 S. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057.   A time of visitation will be held from 10AM until the start of the service. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the American Legion Post 594, 137 E. High St., Middletown, PA 17057.
