Phyllis B. Masenheimer, of Elizabethtown, passed away on her 94th birthday, Monday, January 30, 2023, at Masonic Village Elizabethtown, surrounded by her loving children. Born in Hanover, PA, she was the only child of the late John L. and Margaret E. (Nace) Blettner. She was married to the late Ned A. Masenheimer for nearly 65 years.
Phyllis was a1946 graduate of Eichelberger High School, Hanover, PA. Her church affiliations included active membership and numerous volunteer positions at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, York, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Raleigh, NC, and Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
Phyllis is survived by her four children: Cynthia and George Shultz, Bensalem, PA; Allen Masenheimer, Wycombe, PA; Susan Masenheimer, York, PA; and David Masenheimer and Romain Frugé, Hyde Park, NY; four grandchildren: Brian Shultz, Bensalem, PA; Gregory and Cami Masenheimer, Sykesville, MD; Keith and Abby Masenheimer, Littleton, CO; and John Masenheimer, Denver, CO; and five great-grandchildren: Abagail Shultz, Layne and Callum Masenheimer, and Owen and Tyler Masenheimer. Phyllis was preceded in death by Allen's beloved wife, Lyn. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend as well as a selfless woman of great faith.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1PM on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at Sell Chapel, Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, followed by a memorial service at 2PM.
