Shawn E. Aldinger

Shawn E. Aldinger, 52, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia. Born Monday, September 29, 1969 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of Elvin Ray Aldinger of Elizabethtown and the late Victoria Ruth (Bowers) Aldinger who passed away in May of this year.

Shawn graduated from Lower Dauphin High School and was a long-time employee of Koser Building Materials. He enjoyed gardening, adventures to the mountains, old cars and reading. He had a wonderful, sarcastic sense of humor and loved telling stories. Shawn truly enjoyed making people laugh.

Surviving in addition to his father are two daughters: Michelle L. Lang (his favorite) and husband Aaron of Kingsland, GA and Taylor R. Aldinger of Waycross, GA; two step-daughters: Angel R. Oren and husband Nathan of Wrightsville and Tameka Basehore of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren: Jace, Logan, Søren and Reese; a sister Tina R. Jenkins and husband Sam of Graham, NC; a brother Kevin R. Aldinger and wife Sue of Hummelstown and his significant other Missy Basehore of Elizabethtown.

Shawn was also predeceased by three brothers: Ryan G., Mark B. and Ray E. Aldinger.

Service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
