Andrew Michael Wyatt

Andrew Michael Wyatt, 28, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center. Born Tuesday, March 1, 1988 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Ronald Wyatt, Sr. and Nancy (Macklin) Wyatt of Palmyra.

Andrew attended the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy in Philadelphia where he created programs to enable children to communicate. These programs are still being used today. He also attended the ACES program at Temple University, where he not only completed the courses but went back to teach and mentor. Additionally, he attended courses at HACC and was quoted as saying “I want to live at home with my parents, and my dad will drive me to Harrisburg Community College, where I will learn to do a job that involves meeting different kinds of people.”

Andrew will be lovingly missed by his dad and best friend, Ronald, Sr.; his mom Nancy; his brother Ronald Wyatt, Jr. and sister Kelly Wyatt, all of Palmyra; nieces and nephews: Emma, Eva, Cale and Landon; and his dog, Bam.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra 17078 at 2:00 PM. Viewing will be held on Sunday at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra from 4:00-6:00 PM and on Monday at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy, 4400 Baltimore Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
