Dear Gerald and family,
I rode the school bus with Sybil for four years; we passed the Thorne house every day. I also visited in the Smith home many times with my dear Aunt Mary Weimer, one of Sybil's sisters. Sybil's family members were kind to me as a child and teenager. I knew her parents and most of her siblings during my youth.
I'm so glad that your church home of still the Church of the Brethren. May you find comfort in the faith that you shared with Sybil.
