It's been a while but who could ever forget Boydie? So far off the wall I'm not sure if it was even on his map. First person I ever saw wearing an "8 ball".

Boydie, you will be missed more then anybody i know. I'm so sorry Lissa,Kritter and Brandy. My heart goes out to you all. When I think of Boydie, I think about going to California, Flintstone Village, the mountains, black magic markers and duck tape. Most of all I think about friendship and a whole lot of fun and laughter we all spent together. Hang in there Lissa. We will all party again at the big party in the sky.

Oh Uncle Gene. What can I say? I always loved how crazy you were. We've lost a funny and genuine person. Even though I didn't see you very often, I always thought fondly of you and wished our family could get together so you could make us all laugh. xoxo

Lisa, krista, Brandy, and rest of family, I am so sorry for your loss. It has taken me all week just to be able to do this. Your husband and dad meant alot to me. I considered him a brother. I had so many great times with him, im not even gonna try to put them on here. I know i will miss his pranks and pranking him back, most of all, i will miss him up at camp. he will always be up there with me. I will not say goodbye to Boydie because he will always be here.

We are sooo sorry about Gene..if there's anything we can do, let us know. I can't tell you how much fun we had when all the girls and Brandy were in karate..it's often on my mind and always wondered how you were all doing. I am aware of what it takes to survive a loss, and I know you have the right stuff to get through it. You are an amazing person and I always so enjoyed your company at the dojo and tournaments. Hang in there. If you need to talk, call 717-273-0591. Love you guys.

It's been over 30 years but I still remember Boydie. He is the first person I ever saw get a tattoo inside his lower lip! So sorry he left this world too soon. Sympathies and prayers to his family! Look out Heaven!

Our sympathy goes out to your family during this time. He will be greatly missed. I went from coming from my childhood home and hearing stories that usually started with "did you hear what that damn Boydy did?" to marrying Jeff and still those words were repeated. Yet, the words often heard, as well, were "let me ask Boydy, he'll help, or he'll know". He was a man that will leave an everlasting impression on our minds and hearts. Your family was and is truly blessed to have called him yours.

To The Boyd Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences as I was very much saddened to hear of Boydie's passing. I worked with him for 12 years at Weaber's and have many found memories of him. While he was always a prankster and never one to shy away from a good hack on someone, I had the opportunity to speak with him at great lengths about family and life in general while in the break rooms and down at the Colebrook Tavern. While I am certain many people may think he was the typical saw mill blue collar worker and have many good stories to tell, your father and husband meant more to me than just that. In fact he had a lasting impression on me, even after not seeing or speaking to him in 8 or so years. He was always very encouraging to me while I was in both college and law school, almost in a fatherly like way, and I remember him speaking about both of his daughters at great length, always gushing with pride. When I speak of my years at Weaber's I often refer to Boydie as one of the most interesting, unique and just all around fun people that I had the opportunity to meet and then I inevitably share a Boydie story. I can honestly say that he was one of the people I missed the most after leaving Weaber's and I am certain he will be greatly missed by many.

Sincerely,
Brian P. Garman, Esq.

I'll never forget that wild ride we took coming down off of Governor Dick with the lights out. I never saw grown men so scared! Good memories of Gene teaching me how to ride motorcycle. Rest well, my friend.
