I am sorry that I cannot attend the services. Greg was attending my English class this term, so I got to know him through his writing. My heart breaks for all of you right now. I can't even imagine what you must all be going through. Greg was such a fun, likable young man with a glowing personality. Losing any family member is hard, but someone who still had so much future ahead makes it so much harder. I just want you all to know that I love you and Drew, I wish I could be there to give you a big hug. You are all in my prayers and thoughts.

Greg holds a special place in our hearts. He was the little boy in our neighborhood who was the entrepreneur. We remember him showing up around the holidays to take orders for baked goods to sell, wanting to do yard work, or watch our dog. There were times he would show up at our door with a small gift, like a candy cane at Christmas, just to wish us Merry Christmas and to say hello. We will always remember his sweet smile, and how he reminded us of the importance of kindness. Our prayers are with his family: John, Susan, Drew, and Zack.
